The people of Christchurch, New Zealand keep getting their fair share:
Christchurch quake ‘bloody frightening’ – resident

Christchurch Mayor Bob Parker says it is a serious situation and he is considering declaring a local state of emergency.
Today, residents were once again thrown into a panic as an aftershock struck at 1pm. Residents ran from indoors and out onto the street.
Jenny Beacroft, who was home when the quake struck, describes the experience as “bloody frightening”.
At least 10 people were taken to Christchurch Hospital with injuries, due to falling building material.

I can’t help but wonder if Richard Armitage is still in New Zealand or has indeed gone on hiatus from ‘The Hobbit’ and was in Brighton as some on Twitter suggested. Whatever the case, I hope he and the Kiwi people (despite some injuries) will be well, and even if you didn’t participate in the Rise up Christchurch telethon, it’s never too late to help out.

I am really shocked to hear there’s been another earthquake. The poor people of Christchurch. All the best to them!
Richard seems to be in England right now. According to this twitter news somebody saw him in the audience, watching a performance of ONE MAN TWO GOVERNORS in the National Theatre in London:
So sorry to hear this. Best wishes to the people of Christchurch.
I like the idea of Richard laughing away in the audience of a funny play. Hope it’s true.
Those poor people have had more than their share of disaster lately. So sorry to hear this.
[…] What Frenz said. […]
As bad as it is that it happened in Christchurch again, apart from the tweet above, there was also a tweet saying that RA does a photoshot for a magazine in the UK. So I think we can safely assume he’s in the UK or was a few days ago.
I saw that but forgot about it! Lol! Love that twitter. :D
Thanks Frenz for remembering Christchurch. As a blogger from this part of world, my heart goes out to our brothers and sisters in ChCh. I realise there are other catastrophes in the world – but this is close to us.
I heard about the tweets. RA has had almost 5 months of living in a part of the world where he is an unknown and apart from an official photo at a cricket match, he has gone undetected. He arrives back in one of the biggest cities in the world and can’t go to the theatre without someone tweeting about it. I guess this is a sign of thngs to come for him …… :)
[…] This is more complicated. I think it comes down to reading this comment today. A year ago I’d have said I didn’t care where Richard Armitage was on any […]
I am missing something – where does the Brighton connection come from?
Someone said that on Twitter, but I think after having seen these two tweets, it might be that someone thought he was in Brighton because one of the twitter users is from Brighton. Other than that, I really have no idea.
Poor Christchurch. They’ve gone through the mill something cruel this year.
I can’#t help smiling at the thought of Mr A laughing at a funny play though.
