Since the Thorin audition has been talked about quite extensively, I’m not going to bore you with my full assessment of it. Suffice to say it agrees with much of what I’ve read from several of you with my net assessment being my gushing over Richard Armitage’s talent is justified, and we ain’t seen nothing yet. :D
But all the talk aside, I had to do this for myself.
In the meantime, it’s going to be interesting to see how others come to view him, and it’s hard to think there won’t be a critical mass who see him as quite a force. And if I’m deceived in my thinking, I don’t care. I like his stuff, and that’s enough for me.

That was wonderful…once again I have an exhausting day,hoping for a small distraction and you show up with Richard in my FB feed…You’re not a nut—you’re my RA fix…I think a lot of people are going to become fans by the time the story of Thorin is told…I’ve seen him as wonderful characters and amazing in them all…I may be the only one to not have seen all of North and South, but it is on my bucket list….Thanks for the fix………both you and he are wonderful….

I bought the Hobbit movie…wasn’t in to the older stories, but RA wasn’t in those…I don’t have North and South, haven’t been able to find it local, don’t do a lot of on line shopping…I’ve been able to see lots of bits and pieces, mostly thanks to you…. :) , Am going to ask Santa again this year…thought I was a good girl last year,but he shops local too,(and doesn’t get the whole RA obsession anyways) I have faith……

MCQ, I had the same question. It looks like a wrist cuff of some kind. I’ve read before that he’s not a religious person, but this leather cuff has a cross on it, I believe. It may just be something he wore to try to get into the role??? I don’t know. I’ve never seen him wear anything like that before. Any ideas?
