Whatever else anyone sees, an artist sees something worthy; otherwise, why spend the time to convey something to the rest of us.
This captures some of the essence of my banner picture, an essence which can still rivet me, and I guess some of you as well:
If you have never watched Richard Armitage as Guy of Gisborne, do yourself a favor and give it try. The show was not the greatest, but he makes up for it.

Great drawing. Thank you for sharing it.
I used to get to see RH on a couple of cable channels. Now I can’t get it on either of them. :-( I miss it.
Wonderful…………..
wow!!! This artist is GOOD!
I agree with you 100%. Sir Guy turned out to be so much more than a cartoonish one-dimensional character & it was Richard’s wonderful portrayal that helped us empathise with and care for the character.
RH isn’t the best production he’s been in, but Gisborne’s journey and Richard’s work are worth persevering beyond the first episodes of Series 1- I’d say things start getting REALLY interesting (Gisborne-wise) towards the end of the first season.
I’ve fallen in love with other characters played by Richard but, just as Mr Thornton- who introduced me to RA’s work- Sir Guy’ll forever remain one of my all-time favourites.
